For the Dog Mums Who Were Told “It’s Just a Dog”
Rieko’s World was created for the women who know their dog is not just a pet. He is family, comfort, chaos, purpose, and home.
Why Rieko's World Exists
Growing up on the east coast of Australia, dogs were always part of life. But dog ownership has evolved and I love that it has. Today, our dogs walk beside us at the beach, join us at cafés, curl up on our couches, and shape the rhythm of our days. Where we go, they go. As it should be. Rieko’s World was born from this belief and from my own journey of finding meaning, comfort, and strength in words during hard seasons of life. The words came first. The home decor came later. Because at the heart of this brand isn’t just home decor it’s connection.
Meet Rieko
Rieko Ioane is not your typical miniature Labradoodle. (Not that he got the memo - not so mini and not so oodle.)
He’s quirky, chaotic, loyal, ball-obsessed and wildly cheeky. He's also full of heart, just like the life I've built around him.
Some people say, “He’s just a dog.” They don’t get it. I say, “He’s my world.”
Because Rieko isn’t just part of my life he shaped it.
From Doncaster, England to Down Under, his journey has been anything but small.
At eight weeks old, he was already clocking up road trips to London. Two years later, he crossed the world, via Singapore, Melbourne quarantine, and finally landing here in Australia.
Now this is home.
And Rieko’s World? It exists because of him.
What We Create
We create home decor for dog mums who don’t tone it down.
Sassy, meaningful cushions and prints (new product drops soon) that say what you’re actually thinking, the funny and the real.
Because life with dogs isn’t clean or quiet. It’s messy, loud, full of personality… and we wouldn’t change a thing.
These are pieces that make you laugh, feel seen, and unapologetically own the way you love your dog.
Designed for homes where the dog(s) comes first, and everything else fits around that.
More Than a Brand
Rieko’s World is a space for dog mums who are done explaining themselves.
From building the Fur & Folk Social Club, to stepping into fostering, to creating moments where loving your dog this much isn’t questioned, it’s normal.
Because for some of us, our dogs aren’t just part of our lives, they are our lives.
Because dog mums are real mums too.
And we’re not toning that down.
Thanks for sniffing around 🐾
